We have a new Mandarin speaking friend, Kai-Lan.
Kennedy sat next to a little girl on the plane ride to ABQ that had a Kai-Lan doll (and book, and shirt). Kennedy's new friend let her play with the doll the whole flight. I was incredibly grateful as this kept her entertained the whole time. I decided to see what Ni-Hao, Kai-Lan was all about and put on an episode for Kennedy yesterday. Its basically the Mandarin version of Dora the Explorer. She stopped dead in her tracks and did not move for 24 minutes.
